Magpies bag Southern 9s, K10,000

TAURAMA Siporo Magpies dethroned Lako One 22-13 to snatch the Sportzevents Southern League Cup and K10,000 at the National Football Stadium yesterday.
They avenged their 10-14 loss to Lako 1 at Bava Park last year.
Magpies captain Steven Gia said: “After last year’s loss, we knew what was coming and we prepared for it.
“We’re happy with the win.”
