Marape: No cabinet reshuffle

PRIME Minister James Marape has dismissed claims of a cabinet reshuffle, saying changes to ministerial portfolios would be made based on performance.
“There is a lot speculation going on that there will be a reshuffle, but that’s not going to happen, not yet,” he said.
“It’s all based on performance. “As we approach our one year in office, we will see how each minister has performed.
“Each minister has different strengths.
“We will see where they can best perform at and the reallocation of ministries and the readjustments can take place.
“I’m giving one year in office as a period in which we could assess, based on the key performance indicators that we have given each minister and respective department.”
