Holy Spirit Movement Ministries World-wide Churches opened its head office in Port Moresby on Saturday with more than 400 members and pastors present.
The church’s president, Pastor Clement Tep, said it was a historic moment for the church.
He said they would use the office to spread the word of God.
“The office would enable the ministry to communicate with its partners and expand and extend the kingdom of God worldwide,” Pastor Clement said.
“The church started in the late 1980s in the Wapenamanda District of the Enga.
“It was formally registered in 1993,” Ps Clement said.
“The church was established in those regions yet it did not have an office of its own.
“Now the office will look forward to working with more than 75 congregations throughout the country.”
