Mok, Coleman set for mixed event at Youth Olympics

Golfers Natalie Mok, pictured, and Terrence Coleman wrapped up their individual stroke event and are now gearing up for the mixed foursome stroke event at the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Mok closed off the second day a lot better than her first with 9 over par 79.
On the third and final day of the individual event, due to cold temperatures, Natalie finished with 22 over par gross 92.
Coleman finished the second day with 14 over par at 84 and ended his individual quest at 17 over par with 87 gross.
Mok completed her final 54-hole event with a total of 252 gross to finish 31st out of 32 countries, and Coleman with a 248 gross to finish 29th out of 32 countries .
Supporting the golfers were chef de mission Karo Lelai, Team Papua New Guinea general manager Lua Rikis and PNG Olympic Committee general secretary Auvita Rapilla.
Taking home the medals in the men’s division were Australia’s Karl Vilips (gold) with 206 gross, United States’ Akshay Bhatia (silver) with 208 gross and France’s Jerry Ji (bronze) with 211 gross.
Bagging the medals in the women’s division were Australia’s Su Un Kim (gold) with 211 gross, the Philippines’ Yuka Saso (silver) with 214 gross and Austria’s Emma Spitz (bronze).
Taking a break on Friday, Mok and Coleman attended a seminar ran by Royal Ancient Golf (world golf governing body) to talk about excelling their careers, preparation, mental strength and understanding golf administration in order to help young golfers bear in mind that there were a number of ways to be involved in the sport.
Sixteen-year-old Mok and Coleman tee off the second and final event, the three-day mixed foursomes stroke event, which both athletes are looking forward to giving their best.
