CHUAVE MP Wera Mori has dished out K100,000 to rugby league clubs in Eastern Highlands and Chimbu provinces.

Mori donated K50,000 to the Lahanis.

Eastern Highlands Governor Julie Soso commended Mori for his financial support for the Lahanis.

She said the Lahanis had been helped by Mori over the years and it was fitting he be made patron.

Soso presented K300,000 towards Lahanis in their first game.

Mori extended his helping hands to the TNA Lions with K25,000 and K15,000 to the Sikewake Hawks and K10,000 to the Kangie Tigers.

The Tigers and Hawks are two local clubs taking part in the Kundiawa rugby league competition.

“Hawks and Tigers to be feeder clubs for Warriors next year and we need to support them financially.”
