MP: Look after health services

HEALTH services are vital in a community and people must take the responsibility to uphold law and order and look after such services.
Markham MP Koni Iguan, speaking in the electorate during the opening of a new duplex accommodation facility for Lae School of Nursing trainees, made the call after thugs had cut the fence around the facility and stole items from the building.
He urged the community to respect such developments in the district and warned them that such actions would be costly for everyone.
“I appeal to my people in Mutzing and Markham to uphold law and order in the community and respect such services.”
The school’s acting principal, Pauline Bomareo, made similar remarks saying: “Health services are vital services in a community and, therefore, I appeal to people to uphold law and order in the community and respect such services.”
Bomareo said such developments took great effort to accomplish and for a few people to do what was done was bad for the community in terms of future development.
