KAVIENG MP Ian Ling-Stuckey says parents should seize the opportunity to re-engage with their children’s education following the Government’s re-introduction of free education.
“Parents are urged to take a more active role in their children’s school activities, including homework, attendance and extra-curricular activities set by their teachers,” he said.
Ling-Stuckey said the Kavieng development authority helped fund the Fissoa Primary School with K100,000 for construction of a building recently.
“A new school truck has been budgeted this year.”
