IT IS the time of the year when many parents scramble through stationery shops to buy their children’s school needs .
But one parent’s life has just been made easier by Kina Finance through its Esiloan product.
Georgina Isira from Port Moresby is the first of 10 winners, taking home a laptop computer as part of Esiloan’s back- to-school promotion.
Isira entered the draw after obtaining a K3,600 loan to pay for her three children’s school fees.
She said the laptop would help her children do their assignments and in her work at the Education Department.
Isira thanked Esiloan for rewarding its customers through this special promotion.
Esiloan collections team leader Mary Kukame said in previous promotions, the company paid off the loans of customers.
But this time Easiloan thought of doing something different by awarding promotion winners with the laptops.
The competition runs from Jan to June and is open to any government or private businesses that have agreements with Esiloan.
There will be nine more winners drawn every week until June 16.
Kukame said Esiloan signed on with mobile SMK and was now doing loan via post offices, reaching public servants such as teachers in remote rural areas.
