NBC aiming to complete double

MINOR premiers National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) will aim to seal the double when the face National Fisheries Authority (NFA) in the Public Servants Netball Association grand final in Port Moresby tomorrow.
NBC will want to bounce back after their major semifinal loss to NFA in the premier division.
NBC have quality players in goal attack Genevieve Ume and goal defender Kelebi Ipai with coach Lilian Yaruso relying on their experience and combinations to carry their hopes.
NFA shooters Vavine Iamo and Sarufa Eka Tore will be aiming for a repeat of their performance in the major semifinal.
But it will depend on the effectiveness of their mid-court players with NBC’s Kila Vela, Rachel Kida and Maimu Nou aiming to dominate the middle and limit NFA’s share of possession.
Yaruso will need to appoint someone to cover Kida as the captain is in doubt for the match due to family commitments.
NFA mid-court players Maria Alu, Cathy Solomon and Dorothy Genorupa will be at the heart of their attack.
Another area is defence with NBC’s Ipai and Sonia Sawariba expected to work overtime to thwart scoring opportunities for in-form pair Iamo and Tore.
