NID delay frustrating

THE delay in getting our NID has affected our travelling and other needs.
As a church leader, I had organised for my church registration at Erima, Port Moresby, on November 2018, where the team came and got our information for registration.
We were advised that our cards and certificates would be given last March.
This has not eventuated.
I have made several follow ups but the staff at the National Statistics Office gave me many excuses.
I wrote to the person in charge of data management but nothing has progressed.
I went to talk to the officer in charge but he did not come out to see me.
The officer seems to be busy everyday and sends out junior officers to attend to my queries.
It’s almost two years and nothing has progressed.
Noel Mobiha has said to give out all 2018 cards and certificate to the people but why are they still delaying ours?
