No high court cases to be heard

THE National and Supreme Court did not hear any court cases yesterday and will not hear any today.
A public notice was issued yesterday morning announcing that no sittings were to be held yesterday and today. 
The notice yesterday read: “There will not be any court sittings due to judges attending Judges Consultation meeting today (5/12/11) and tomorrow (6/12/11), that is.”
The notice said any queries about matters scheduled for both days had to be referred to the court registry.
The judiciary apologised to the public for any inconvenience caused.
