Officers arrive in NCD after Alotau crash

POLICE from Lae involved in a road accident last week in Alotau have arrived in Port Moresby to be part of Apec operations this week.
Milne Bay police commander Inspector George Bayagau said the men were in Alotau after travelling from Lae when their vehicle was involved in an accident causing the death of three people.
The deaths resulted in violence in town.
The officers were travelling on to Port Moresby to join the Apec security task force.
Their driver is under arrest in Alotau. “They had tasks ahead of them,” Bayagau said. Six of the police officers travelled to Port Moresby.
