One life but many choices

Letters

WE have but one life to live.
So that should prompt all of us to give our best every single day.
Sometimes we spend too much time worrying about our past performances or what others think of us.
In this age, it is true that a lot of people are not living their very own lives but living to please others.
For instance, if you are a father living to please your wife all the time or vice versa, then all I would say is that you are already dead while living.
We were all born for a reason.
And it is true that we make mistakes in life but let us bear in mind that every day is a second chance to come back bigger and stronger by learning from the failures of the past.
With this one life you have, you have a choice whether to make something good out of it or not.
Many people just do nothing about their life and before they know it, they are in their mid-forties and not doing anything.
If you think you can do something, you are right.
If you think you can do nothing, you are right also.
You are what you think.
You create your life with your thoughts.
Your thoughts are so powerful that they can build you up if you think positively and destroy you if you think negatively.
This nation cannot grow if its citizens are always thinking negatively.
Get out of your negative thinking and create a better future for you and your country Papua New Guinea. We need positive mindsets.
And having a positive mindset and a positive life are choices that each individual can make. How do you think my friend?
Are you still worrying over the fact that you were not selected to continue to higher institutions? Well my friend, your future is still unknown and only you will make it known.
Do you want others to continuously judge you from your past as a failure or get back up today and create a better future for yourself and your country?
The choice is in your hands.
