Opp must reveal its policies

Letters, Normal

THE recent turn of events has made the political scene in the country more exciting but at the same time, our development’s progress is facing a risk.
I wonder whose interest the national leaders are looking after.
Following the Supreme Court’s decision to outlaw certain sections of the OLIPPAC, the opposition has been calling for press conferences to state its intention to vote the government out.
At these conferences, the opposition is criticising and making personal and defamatory attacks on the prime minister.
It is very unbefitting of our leaders.
Can the opposition concentrate on stating its policies rather than attacking the PM and the government to score points?
The opposition cannot claim it is representing the majority.
There are many silent educated Papua New Guineans who want political stability.
The government should not be changed but the political leadership of the government can be changed.
If anyone in the opposition wants to be the prime minister, then they must join the government.
The country has seen lots of investment in the last five years and we want political stability to continue.
