Paga, Butterflies to duel for top spot in league

PORT Moresby Women’s Rugby League leaders Paga Panthers are expecting a tough match in their round 9 clash against Butterflies tomorrow at the National Football Stadium Oval 2.
The Panthers have a 7-1 record and are on 14 points while the Butterflies have logged six wins and two forfeitures to be in second spot.
“It’s good to win some games and loss some games to know where your strengths and weakness are then work toward fixing them,” Paga captain Janet Michael said.
Michael said their first loss to Hohola Flies in round 7 had been an eye opener and they came back harder in their 16-4 win over Royals last week. The Butterflies are also coming off a 22-0 win over Magani.
Butterflies with thjeir top talent in lock Carol Humeu, fullback Carol Francis, prop Konio Oala and hooker Lisa Bina are expected to provide Paga its biggest test to date.
The Panthers have skipper Michael and Vanessa Palme, who are expected to feature for their side.
