Paying reservists

Letters

I am a first national reservist intake of 1985.
I wish to air my views on the Royal PNG Constabulary failing to pay out long-overdue allowances and entitlements to the hard-working men and women reservists throughout PNG.
One example was that the latest payout for Morobe, which has the highest number of reservists and auxiliary police officers. Their 2017 national election allowance was mysteriously cut back by seven days.
Such deliberate and unwarranted actions must not happen in the coming LLG elections in July 2018.
We deserve to be treated fairly.
We have sweated our guts out.
We worked tirelessly alongside regular police officers during election time.
Please be fair.
