PM desperate to hold on to power

Letters, Normal

YOUR editorial “Chief of all ‘longlong’ and ‘sadang’” on Wednesday was spot on.
I commend The National for highlighting something on the mind of many people.
In fact, the outburst by the prime minister showed how desperate he was to hold onto power so much so that he was not willing to listen to the input from the people of PNG.
What transpired during this current term of Parliament is nothing but a never ending series of controversies and poor governance by the government.
This government is so concerned with cashing in on the mining boom that it has forgotten about the social and environmental aspects.
This is because we have a “longlong” and “sadang” leading this country.
