PNG Air introduces new direct flight routes
PNG Air has introduced new flight routes connecting Lae and the Highlands, with plans for new destinations.
According to a company statement, due to demand and request for direct flights connecting Eastern Highlands, Morobe and Western Highlands, flights will now be connected from Goroka to Mt Hagen twice a week (Mondays and Fridays) and Lae to Mt Hagen (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and vice-versa.
“The new flight routes will be more efficient for all of our customers who travel with PNG Air, as passengers will no longer need to travel via Port Moresby to connect, saving them both time and money,” the airline stated.
“In the upcoming months, we plan to extend and introduce new destinations offering a greater choice and value for our travelling passengers.”

Its about time we have short route flights not only in highlands but on the coastal provinces too like Lae to Madang!!
Consider Alotau for direct flights as well.
