Police brutality

PROVINCIAL police commanders should enable their officers and staff members to know what to do when they get reports from the police station and the courthouse.
They must not go off-track by accepting bribe or a drink to arrest innocent people.
Some policemen in Lae are doing this.
They went up to Menyamya, made an arrest and beat up the suspects.
This is not good.
An arrest or a penalty should be applied to whoever is found guilty during a trial in court.
Some very smart people are giving money to these policemen to
do these things without the police station or the provincial police commander knowing.
Our people have been arrested and beaten up without trial.
