Police need safety gears

LAW and order in the country is getting out of hand.
We experience and hear of armed hold up, armed robbery and tribal fights in which war lords use high-powered guns and so on.
We see and hear of police personnel losing their lives in the line of duty combating law and order issues.
The call by the Police Commissioner David Manning for the Government to provide the police force with bullet proof body gears is very crucial.
Police need armoured vehicles, bullet proof helmets and other protective armours to assist them.
They need face masks to hide their identity in some operations.
Police personnel are not robots.
The Government should do all it can to protect police officers when they are out on operations combatting law and order issues.
