THE Port Moresby Darts Association’s big guns do battle for the pre-season honours this Saturday with a week before the 2011 season begins.
Last year’s top guns Porolarch and Works  will again test themselves to see if last year’s grand final win by Works was a fluke.
Others include Tairox, R&P Tribes, Wizards, G12, Paix teams from Tubusereia and Gaire, Pian, Zulu and other new teams.
President Moyap Kilepak urged all players and supporters to come to Club 22 opposite Wards Strip Demonstration School and witness the knockouts and join in the excitement which will culminate in a presentation and awards ceremony.
Individual awards will be given to top scores, checks, and 180 busters while teams will be awarded prizes while even corporate awards for recognition and appreciation to individuals and organisations will be handed out.
“It will be a fun day and interested dart enthusiasts are invited to come and see how the code is making a comeback and rebuilding itself after a quiet period of several years,” Moyap said.
