THE Port Moresby Rugby Football League competition will resume this weekend with four weeks of games in the second round of the season.
League administrator Meke Maino told The National yesterday that they had revised the draw which will now see three weeks of finals after the completion of the second round.
“There have been some changes to the draw for round two which will see the top-four teams of the two pools in round one grouped in one pool for round two,” he said.
“The bottom-three teams of the two pools from round one will be grouped in another pool.
“This will apply to all divisions.
“We did that to make it fair for some teams because in round one, there was a situation where one pool had many games while the other pool had a free ride with a lot of forfeits.
“We want to balance that and swap teams around.”
Maino said teams that had yet to complete their player registration and team affiliation had until tomorrow to do so.
