NAWAEB Lutheran Secondary School (Morobe) principal Besi Simongi has denied rumours that the school is closed due to financial crisis.
Simongi said the school was suspended for a week to install new beds in the dormitory.
“The school has been suspended due to installation of new beds in Gr 11 and 12 dormitories,” he said.
Simongi said Yema Building Construction Ltd would install beds and it was not safe for students around during construction.
The project, funded by the Morobe government, would be completed this week.
