THE deadline for the Port Moresby Schoolboys Rugby League team affiliation is set for end of this month.

Chairman Ben Kaupa made the reminder yesterday saying the affiliation fee is K100 per division.

He said the schools in Moresby Northeast and Moresby South were given ample time to  pay the required fees on time.

The divisions are Under-13, U15 and U17 while U19 for secondary schools.

He said so far only Kings Academy had met all the requirements while Bomana, New Erima, Coronation, St Peters, Holy Rosary, Koiari Park and De la Salle (secondary) had paid the affiliation but no player registration of K20 per player.

Schools principals, sports masters and mistresses should ensure the teams are attired properly during the competition.

“This is a requirement and all teams are strongly reminded to pay or risk exclusion” Kaupa said.

Kaupa is appealing to business houses, individuals and local MPs, Labi Amaiu,  Justin Tkatchenko  Michael Malabag and Governor Powes Parkop to support the schools.
