The Port Moresby schools soccer competition will resume tomorrow after a recess last weekend over unpaid fees by some teams.
Chairman John Mogi said schools that were yet to pay or complete their school affiliation fee of K400 and team registration fee of K200 were given until Monday to do so.
Meanwhile, the round three games for the U16 and U18 divisions will be played at the Administration College oval at Waigani.
Mogi said the agreement with the owners of the venues was provisional, but a permanent deal would be finalised today.
“We’ve talked with them, but we will have to finalise everything. Then we will notify the schools with U16 and U18 teams,” Mogi said.
“Once the confirmation is done, we will prepare the grounds.
“We’ve seen the grounds and they are in good condition.”
Mogi said the draws were likely to change from time to time, depending on the teams that turn up.
“After May 21, we will finalise all participating schools but right now, we urge them to fulfil their requirements to be part of the competition,” he said.
“We have some new schools coming in like St Paul’s, Bomana Primary School, Cheshire and Hohola Demonstration, and we have others pulling out like Kopkop.”
