SIM card registration is still on for customers with an extension of time.
A very important question should be asked to the service providers: How and when will they dispatch their registration teams to the very-remote areas of the country to register their valued customers.
It seems that policies implemented are only for the benefit of the urban and semi-urban population.
At Christmas, while at home in remote Kandrian, West New Britain, a number of my own family members and friends at asked: “How will we get our SIM card registered when we can’t make it into town to register?”
The question is an eye-opener for responsible authorities, who should seriously consider the pros and cons of the whole exercise.
The onus is now on your shoulders to make sure rural customers are not left out.
