Smooth start to classes in province

CLASSES for the 2022 academic year for all schools in East New Britain (ENB) got off smoothly recently with student registrations and enrolments.
The National visited one of the biggest primary schools in the province located in Kokopo.
Kokopo Primary School headmaster Wesley Vatnabar said many parents always wanted to enrol their children in the level eight school.
“Parents have their own reasons why they want to enrol their children here,” he said.
“One of the reasons is that we are maintaining the standard to provide quality learning, with strict discipline for both students and teachers.”
Vatnabar said most parents also wanted their children to be enrolled in Kokopo Primary School because it was located right in the heart of town with good classroom facilities.
