Snax Tigers eye minor premiership

DIGICEL Cup ladder leaders Snax Tigers will look to secure the minor premiership when they host the Gulf Isou at the Lae Rugby League Ground on Sunday.
Second-placed Rabaul Gurias, who take on the Mt Hagen Eagles, are three points behind the Tigers with two matches remaining before the top-six playoffs.
Eighth-placed Isou, who showed class against the Wigmen last weekend, will be gunning for an upset against a formidable Tigers outfit.
In Port Moresby, the NCDC Vipers go up against the visiting Kimbe Cutters. The Cutters – last on the ladder – have nothing to lose against the Vipers.To make the playoffs, the Vipers need to win their two remaining matches.
Minj will play host to third-placed Waghi Tumbe and the Central Dabaris. Tumbe will be looking to maintain their form heading into the playoffs when they meet Chris Enara’s men.
The Mt Eagles take on second-placed Rabaul Gurias.
