Society manager wins top prize

THE branch manager of the Mt Hagen Teachers’ Savings and Loans Society is the new dux of Institute of Banking and Business Management (IBBM).
Henry Allen was among the 75 graduates who graduated in Port Moresby on Thursday.
Initially, Allen was going to skip the graduation due to work commitment, however, he booked a late flight last Wednesday after learning that he would get the prize for dux at the graduation ceremony.
Allen said he was happy and relieved after juggling through studies and work.
Allen extended his gratitude to his teachers and IBBM staff for their assistance in his studies and also thanked his employer for having faith in him and in investing in his training and development.
He said that through the investment and support of his employer he was now better equipped to serve the organisation and the industry.
