Solar-powered morgue for Angau hospital

A temporary solar-powered morgue at Angau Memorial Hospital in Lae is up and running, chief executive Christopher Kenyhercz says.
The facility can hold up to 16 bodies at a time.
“The problem here is solved with the installation of a new chiller for the morgue and other areas that need attention are OK so the facility is now totally operational,” Kenyhercz said.
“Why we installed this temporary solar-powered morgue is simply because at times extra space is needed.”
