THE Papua New Guinea Adventist Tertiary Student Association’s (PNGATSA) 18th biennial convention will be held at Sonoma Adventist College in East New Britain next year, a student leader says.
General secretary Lynus Zydusowakram said the theme of the convention would be “Reconciliation and restoration” which was based on Romans 5:10.
“It tells us that we will be saved through the life of Jesus Christ, who died for us when we reconcile ourselves,” he said.
Zydusowakram said the association aimed to equip students spiritually, mentally, socially and physically ensuring that they upheld Christian values and maintain good citizenship and become leaders of the country after their studies.
“The PNGATSA executives are working closely to host the event that will draw hundreds of students around the country.”
He said the convention was officially launched at the Sonoma last month and was witnessed by the East New Britain Adventist students and church members.
