Students get help with seminars

 VARIOUS educational seminars are put together for the growing number of PNG students studying in Cebu City, Philippines.

PNG students, who went to the Philippines through Paradise International Education Consultancy (PIEC), are given different seminars and training which help them with their overseas studies. 

These are seminars on study skills, time and stress management, dealing with homesickness, public speaking, resume-writing, and many others.

“We are provided with seminars and better facilities in terms of studying environment,” Philadelphia Kolu, a student who comes from Eastern Highlands, said. 

“We have a big study room and internet access which is very helpful for our studies here. We are also being guided and supervised in our school needs. Studying here in the Philippines has become easier and more comfortable since we came.”

Kolu is one of the students who came during the June 2014 intake.
