THE education minister made a weird statement last week that although most students struggled to score above the required pass mark, the institution will only select the required student number.  As one the many fathers who struggled to get my child to score above required GPA and my child had done that by studying every night. As a result he has passed well above the set GPA and later found out that he was not selected. Students have done their best by meeting the approved cutoff mark to get into their university of choice. They must not be denied of their rights.
