Subsistence farming provides honest living

Subsistence farming in PNG has existed since the beginning of mankind until today.
It plays a major part in many societies in PNG.
It teaches many people how to earn a living especially those without jobs in the urban areas.
Subsistence farming is still being practised in many parts of the world today and it plays an important role for the local community, just like as in PNG.
Some people say subsistence farming is no longer the in-thing as we are now living in the 21st century.
But I do not agree as it provides an honest living for those who are involved in it.
