Superfund figure seems superficial

I REFER to The National’s report on Tuesday “Super funds to pay K806mil”.
I cannot believe that this massive amount will be paid to the members affected by the Covid-19.
This amount is huge and seems extraordinary.
Is this figure calculated or just a display to catch the eyes of the public?
In most cases, a member would walk away with figures not near to a million.
Wish all members are paid a million each.
We are aware of the extra tax that is waiting to be calculated at extra percentages with fees etc.
This figure is a slap in the face for the hard working people who are being affected by this pandemic.
All members should be paid their savings without interests, fees and tax.
The tax rates are very high in these payouts.
This is daylight robbery for those hard working members who just left their jobs.
