THE schoolboys’ rugby league development squad was named after a successful Coca-Cola PNG NRL Bid National schoolboy’s rugby league championship in Lae last weekend.
PNG NRL Bid chief executive officer Brad Tassell said his team had set strict guidelines and every player had to abide by these rules to be guaranteed a spot.
“It is pretty simple, you are the top players selected from the rest. The commitment you give to your school and the game will be monitored.
“You will have to give priority to your education and if you disobey your teachers when at school or don’t attend classes and break school rules then you will not hop on the plane to Port Moresby,” Tassell said.
