PACIFIC Assurance Group (PAG) coach Kaia Hila is confident that her team has what it takes to make it into the top of the Private Companies Netball Competition.

PAG which has two teams with 32 players proved too good as they thrashed Digara 9-3 in the fourth games of round one on Sunday at the Rita Flynn Indoor Courts.

The first timers into the competition have been outstanding in their performance since the start of the game by so far winning three games and drawing one.

Hila said with the match against Digara, their team two girls were a bit nervous because they have been moved up from division 12 to 11 and they faced teams who are more experienced and have been in the competition for a long time but they did very well by winning their match.

“Most of the players are new to netball as most of them have been playing rugby touch and softball when we took them on board but despite that, they picked up very quickly and have been playing very well and as a result our team one was moved from division 10 to eight while team two was moved from division 12 to 11, that is all because of our players strong performance,” Hila said.

PCNC will go into the fifth games of round one next Sunday at the Rita Flynn Indoor Courts.
