CITY Pharmacy Limited (CPL) are aiming to resume their Private Companies Netball Competition campaign on a positive note when they face Holiday Inn in Port Moresby on Sunday.
CPL coach Oti Lasagabivau said that they would concentrate on their defence and capitalise on turn-overs to try to win the game. “Holiday Inn are a good team so we’ll try to play well,” she said ahead of the resumption of the competition at the Rita Flynn Indoor Complex.
“We need to be disciplined on the court and minimise our errors to win the game.”
Lasagabivau said PCNC was all about networking with other companies.
“That is the main objective,” she said.
Lasagabivau said they would work on their defence and other aspects of their game.
CPL, who finished fourth in their division last season, are now aiming to win the title this year. CPL managing director Mahesh Patel, when presenting new apparel to the team on Wednesday, said it was a privilege to have an experienced coach in Lasagabivau leading the side.
“We are lucky enough to have the former Pepes assistance coach leading our team,” he said.
