Teen accused of killing big brother

A PRIMARY schoolboy, 13, from Pomio in East New Britain, has been accused of stabbing and killing his 25-year-old brother during an argument at home.
Police are waiting for a post-mortem report to charge the minor, who is in the Kerevat cell, provincial police commander Insp Joseph Tabali said.
“The deceased was arguing with the father in the morning and when the accused saw it, went and got the knife and stabbed him in the neck,” he said.
The incident happened last Sunday.
The victim was rushed to Kerevat health centre and died from losing a large amount of blood, Tabali said.
“Neighbours, friends and relatives should not watch family arguments and fighting but help them, it can save a life,” he said.
He said it was unfortunate incident were people watching the two arguing and the smaller brother took out a knife and stabbed the brother.
