Testing process causing panic

Letters

THE Government’s handling of Covid-19 pandemic is still creating panic mode in the country.
The testing of cases is putting the country’s 8 million lives at risk by giving us a false sense of security.
I condemn the way tests for Covid-19 is conducted in the country. People are not panicking but the handling of cases by responsible authorities is creating panic among the people.
Student’s life and safety has to be fully guaranteed and assured.
We are dealing with a biomedical health issue and not a law and order crisis.
In the world, people are dying.
Let us all be realistic towards what is happening at the world scene.
Students need to be fully assured.
We need the Department of Higher Education Research Science and Technology to come out clear and assure us of our safety.
If developed countries are fighting to survive this pandemic, how confident are we to fight this deadly virus?
The government’s action deliberately put the lives of not only the student population at risk but the teachers, lecturers, and professors.
Therefore, we all need a clear assurance before April 27.

  • lock it down, maintain healthy hygiene as per the government instruction for your safety sake instead of making noise.
