The people have spoken peacefully

Letters, Normal

ON Tuesday, the people of Port Moresby were united for a good cause.
I have been residing in the city for the last 10 years and have never seen such a huge crowd flocking to the Parliament.
This showed we can no longer be fooled by self-centred politicians.
This peaceful gathering was historic.
It is a reminder to our Members of Parliament not to mess with the Constitution for their own interest.
Our MPs must remember that it is the people who put them in Parliament and it is the people who will remove them.
If unsure, it is best our MPs consult experts, lawyers and the electorates so as to make informed decisions.
