Time to get cracking on 2015 Games

I REFER to your back page report “Are we ready?” (Nov 11).
If I am not mistaken, I believe you have written about this issue months ago in your editorial.
With the PNG Games starting in less than a week, I seriously doubt we are able to get everything ready even if we were to work 24 hours a day.
The hosts have been given ample time to get their act together.
I wonder if we are capable of hosting the Pacific Games in 2015 judging from what we have just seen recently.
I call on the sports editor of The National to remind those involved in the Pacific Games to start building the facilities for the games.
Otherwise, we’ll end up as the laughing stock of the Pacific.
