Tkatchenko presents new set of jerseys to Butterflies

BUTTERFLIES received a new set of jerseys from Moresby South MP Justin Tkatchenko.
District administrator Aisop Mol made the presentation on behalf of Tkatchenko at Moresby South Stadium last Thursday.
He said Butterflies were one of the strongest Port Moresby Rugby Football League clubs and that the district was happy to back the side.
“We are proud to support the club because many youths from Moresby South play for Butterflies,” Mol said.
“The district has invested heavily in sports to keep youths busy, and provide a pathway for them to expose their talents.
“The Moresby South Stadium demonstrates the district’s commitment to our young people.”
Mol hopes that with Tkatchenko’s support, the club can be able to maintain their status. He wished them well in the new season.
Butterflies coach Michael Boeo thanked the MP for his support.
