Tokura concerned over threats

BOUGAINVILLE police commander Francis Tokura is concerned about reports that candidates contesting the fourth Autonomous Bougainville Government elections are threatening voters to vote for them.
“These candidates are threatening voters to vote for them or else they will restart the Bougainville crisis,” he said.
Tokura warned candidates to campaign fairly or they would be arrested to police.
He appealed to the public to report any threats by candidates.
Tokura said that the candidates were mostly contesting seats in the constituencies. “Some of these candidates have violent records, especially these former combatants of the Bougainville crisis,” he said.
“And I’m calling on these candidates to show maturity in their leadership and campaigning in the true spirit of a Bougainville leader and that is to maintain peace by peaceful means in their communities,” he said. Tokura said apart from such negative reports, campaigning had been progressing smoothly.
“It’s only in some of the 44 constituencies that some candidates are issuing threats,” he said.
“But not for the presidential candidates.
“All the 25 presidential candidates are all renowned community leaders so they are campaigning with maturity.
“Campaigning is being carried out all over Bougainville, except for Noah Musingku’s Kingdom of Tonu in Siwai, South Bougainville.
“There is no campaigning there.
“But campaigning is only in communities around that kingdom.”

People of Bougainvill and people of Papua New Guinea don’t waste your time with this so call Noah anymore cause if you have invest some amount of kina to him already and nothing has been repaid than just forgive him and you will see the power of forgiveness .
This doesn’t reflects a true spirit of peace still there are divisions of powers amongst the leaders. Enough is enough and lets stand together to uphold the grieve and pain for brighter Bougainville future.
It is about time the Noah Kingdom MUST expose the truth…….
Noah did not do an armed hold-up to steal our money. He just offered us an investment opportunity to invest and make a killing in short time. We were blinded by our greed and hunger for quick money, we failed to do a proper investment analysis to see the futility and unsustainability of his investment scheme. He was a very smart man- and we were all fools. Noah did nothing wrong, so stop blaming him. blame ourselves

The old rascals are still causing the same trouble, these trouble makers should have been all shot during the last crises.
