Train people with technical skills

EDUCATION is the key to unlocking every door in the world. It is the only pathway to success.
People who haven’t been to school are regarded as undecided people with less knowledge of managing themselves.
Therefore, we value education as a first born child for every couple.
Education is the only tool to develop a country. As this saying by Barrack Obama: “When you have lack of money, sell the knowledge you have”.
PNG is blessed with a lot of natural resources.
However, making use of the natural resources is not an easy task.
We lack the knowledge to turn raw materials into final products.
I think we don’t have proper equipment to carry out the job.
You have your own views on this matter.
The reason is we don’t have enough specialised people who could lead.
The universities in PNG offer courses which are suitable only for PNG’s standard.
That brings education standards to a standstill where graduates can’t find jobs.
How can we improve on that?
The government is responsible to lift the standard of education.
Offer on the job training courses which will enable students to know their job.
When they finish from studies, they will work effectively on their specialised fields.
The government should also sponsor academic excellence students to study at recognised universities around the world.
Also, provide job opportunities within the country so the graduates would come back and work.
Remember, it’s not only about getting a paid job but to develop the country.
Nowadays, young university graduates have become street materials.
They have been looking for jobs for many years but found no luck.
The jobs are for experienced people.
Knowledge is the only magic.
Take back PNG would come last, put education first.
Please lift the education standard in PNG.
