TWO people who allegedly bought 264 cartons of beer stolen from SP Brewery have appeared in court charged with receiving stolen property.
Joe Soto and Josephine Soto received cartons of SP cans valued at K13,000.
The third accused, Sane Soto, who was unable to attend court, allegedly received 132 cartons of SP cans.
Magistrate Cosmas Bidar of the Committal Court in Waigani adjourned the matter to Jan 8.
He said it was a serious allegation because of the large number of cartons of beer stolen from SP Brewery.
