Two schools get K456,000

VANIMO and Don Bosco Secondary schools in West Sepik this week received a total of K456,000 for the purchase of two new school buses, courtesy of Vanimo-Green MP and Opposition Leader, Belden Namah. Vanimo Secondary School principal John Kants thanked Namah and agreed that investing in education was the ideal solution for future prosperity. “The students and teachers appreciate you for your vision and leadership,” Kants said. Namah told students and teachers at Vanimo where he made cheque presentation on Wednesday that he would support integral human development through education as a basic right so long as he was in office. “Get your priorities right,” he told the students.
“ Only through education, you can build and secure a future for yourself,” he said. “Only through hard work, dedication and commitment to education can your prosper.”
