NATIONAL Capital District Rugby Union competition rivals Wanderers and Grey Hounds face off at the Papua New Guinea Football Stadium on Sunday.
The Wanderers, who are two points above their opponents, would want to consolidate their position on the ladder.
But Grey Hounds, despite being in the bottom three, will be equally determined to put on a solid performance.
Meanwhile, Spartans coach John Larry said the competition was going from strength to strength with good discipline from the players and officials.
“We must leave it to the match officials to make the decisions and show good sportsmanship,” he said.
Tomorrow’s clash between Defence and Saints should also be a thriller, with both sides on 21 points. Competition leaders Royals should find the going easy against Southern Chiefs. Reigning champions Spartans are on a bye.
