Violence in schools

Letters

I write this letter regarding the headline ‘Division to get tough on students’ published in The National (June 18).
This is good advice to students.
Reading the article made me feel sad because during my time I did not experience such vicious behavior, with students fighting among themselves or trying to attack the principal, teachers or staff.
We were peaceful and respected Mr Dusty Imaita’s administration.
What is happening now is cruel and senseless.
Students should think and act responsibly because they are tomorrow’s leaders.
Please don’t entertain those hooligans in high and secondary schools in Morobe.
