Vitiaz aiming to continue form against Morobe United

Round 10 of the Kumul Petroleum National Soccer League will see Vitiaz United push for the competition’s top spot against Morobe United in Port Moresby’s tripe-header at the Papua New Guinea Football stadium on Saturday.
Following their 1-0 defeat of Morobe Wawens last week, newcomers Vitiaz sit on third place and will be looking to make home advantage count when they meet Morobe tomorrow (3pm kick-off).
Vitiaz key man Eliud Fugre will be at the forefront of their attack alongside youngster Yagi Yasasa who has been in good form this season.
Morobe, under the guidance of coach Samson Steven, will be looking to go one better tomorrow with John Ray and Gabby Yanum in front.
Bougainville and Gulf Komara meet in tomorrow’s local derby for the sixth spot in the league with Komara tasked with overcoming David Passam’s men for a chance at moving up the ladder (1pm kick-off).
Bougainville skipper Abel Redenut will be out to lead his side against a re-energised Gulf side with Rupa Emil and Numa Kila picking up some form in their 2-0 win over Kutubu last week.
